Dad...Mom 95 now..threw her a wonderful bday party here at Horsham Center..l composed her life story of course lots of focus on you both together and gave copies to your grand children Jenna Michael and Matthew..During November we had my t-day bday celebration event here too..lots of fun...l am old now 62 wow! Oy!.....I led services a week or two ago you would have been proud of me..knew it so well..involved all.. letterman style..fun! Plus l was a star in our Hanukkah show by the Rabbi..ad libs and schtick...Mom alright but she has dementia now yet very funny sweet and loving still..David and l are making best decisions for her Dad and l am her true caregiver..she sees me every morning and noon and nite plus whenever l am needed..l will always take care of her until her final moments...There have been a few health scares for myself but l have good Jewish doctors of course so does mom! Love you miss u but know l take care of all..with David

Dear Dad..today is 9 years since we lost you..hard to believe..I said prayers at services and lit a yertzeit candle as well..

Mom enjoys watching movies and doing some arts and crafts..she loves looking out her window and enjoying nature's view...

I am still involved in sports talk...go to services every friday and saturday..and other activities too including co-hosting two local internal tv shows here at the center..

Miss you and of course Mom does too..

Dear Dad, Miss you a lot. I go services every Friday and Saturday and Art says I will be a Rabbi soon....lol. I have been on Cramer twice and they liked it so much that they want me to call back in again....I enjoy Sports Talk at the Horsham Center and have a special guest coming in next month from the Phillies....I also host a Martin and Lewis style sports show at the Horsham center and have a new show starting this week which will be very exciting, and our first guest will be the lovely and talented - Doreen.......love, RS

Visited you today for early Father's Day and your B-Day before I fly back to Broomall...
We had (as you know) a nice chat...
Mom is doing her best...
We've had a "long and winding road" together these last 6 months...
Very proud of her...
Hopefully I will get/be close to 100% healthy (as shall Mom)...
And start my new life soon...

"Dad,

4 years now...miss you

Mom and I visited today (in the rain..poetic in a sense of 'tears')

We are doing our best to help each other although so much unexpected has happened

Initially, first few weeks, all good (we did Calder Casino..walks together.. and more) and I basically had located a wonderful new community/complex to lease/rent a 'luxury apartment/condo style'

Alas, all 'put on hold' and been a very difficult time since my 'Concussion/Post-Syndrome' Jan 7th and multiple other and ongoing medical maladies for me commencing Feb 1st..all I/we do is see docs/tests/PT/specialists..and perhaps upcoming procedures...
(have lost 15 pounds just this month, but not in good way)

Plus Mom now having to be my care-giver rather than me for her..feel sad about that, too

As you always said, 'good health' is all that matters...and is so true...

On the bright side, Mom is certain that she is going to 'win' the Publishers Clearing House 'grand prize' on Thursday!

(I told her I hope so, but would exchange all the money in the world to be 100% healthy and have a life)

She has been my 'rock', and even when we have our 'moments', the love/caring mutual...

I know you are there in our hearts and spirit, and you should know that most of your wonderful paintings and the curio et al are not here with Mom in the condo and bring her joy...

Dad -

I can't believe it's been more than 4 years since we lost you.

Melinda lost her mom recently, and is going through the same grieving process. Some days ok, some not, but with a sadness and a hole in her heart that I know will never really heal.

I guess there's no way to prepare for it, or even imagine what it's like to lose someone who means so much to you.

I hope wherever you are, you know how much you are missed.

Your B-Day and Father's Day in June...

Your 68th wedding anniv yesterday....

Mom is doing well (amazing, actually!)...and now she has all your wonderful paintings/pictures/curios and special items at the condo...including 'Titan the Lion'!

Alas, my health has not been good these last 3-6 months, and I have been unable to return to South Florida to be with/visit Mom and (hopefully) relocate there...

You always said that 'good health' is all that truly matters, and that is my wish...
