I am so sorry to hear of Karen's passing. It's almost a year that she is not here and I just found out because a 2016 holiday card I sent just returned today saying "deceased". What a shock.
She was such a wonderful woman -- kind and caring, lovely, smart and so friendly. My mother met her at Neiman Marcus many, many years ago. She always talked about Karen, and I eventually had the pleasure of meeting her while shopping with my mother. How could anyone not like Karen? She radiated friendliness. We stayed in touch over the years and she and I also sent holiday cards yearly. I wondered what happened when I did not get a Chanukah card this year. I'm heartbroken to find out the reason.
Bobby, I hope you're reading this. Your mother was such a sweet person. She loved you so much, as I'm sure you know. My memories of your beautiful mother will remain forever.
