Nora Weinreich
Miami City Ballet brought us together. My fondest memory was first meeting her in 1985 when we moved here from New York/Connecticut when we both volunteered. We first started by selling T-shirts for the ballet at performances. We would store them and then track to the different venues. We would be so happy being part of the beginning of this great ballet company. Then I ended up working for the ballet as Director of Volunteers. She was always ready to roll up her sleeves and help. I admired Laura because she dealt with the loss of her husband by engaging in the community with her volunteer services and working with such passion at her job with the doctor she so admired. She was an example to going forward not matter what you encounter. May she rest in peace.
