Leila Josephine Booker-Robinson's Obituary
Leila Josephine Booker-Robinson was affectionately known as Peady. She entered into eternal life on July 12, 2016. She was 81 years of age. She went peacefully in her sleep while residing at Arch Plaza Nursing Center.
Leila was born to Mamie Coplin on February 8, 1935 in Miami, Florida. She had one sister whom proceeded her in death. Leila was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She met and married Alfonso “Wimby” Robinson. She loved to have fun by making people laugh
and have a good time.
Beloved mother of Errick (Chantelle) Booker, Alfie Robinson and Karen Robinson, cherished grandmother of Roberjoneah Roundtree, Deidra (Ricardo) Reece, Qiana Robinson, Tiffany Harold, Steven Anthony and Andre Robinson, adored great-grandmother of many.
We, the family of the late Leila Robinson, would like to thank Arch Creek Nursing Center for their extraordinary care that she was given during her stay there. Also, thank you to Blasberg-Rubin-Zilbert Memorial Chapel for their extra special touch that was shown during our hour of bereavement. Your services were above and beyond our expectations.
We have but one life to live. Enjoy it.
