Lenore Gold Elias' Obituary
Lenore Gold Elias
January 22, 1931- November 11, 2022
We said goodbye to “Queen Lenore” today as she peacefully left us, surrounded by the warmth of caregivers and family. She had a wonderful life and will now be reunited with the love of her life, Big Al, and her baby boy, Sammy, not to mention her best friends.
A pillar of the South Florida community for over 70 years, Lenore involved herself in various charitable organizations, often at the helm. So many areas of our community have benefitted from her tireless commitment to helping others, from the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis to Beth Torah Synagogue, Lenore gave so much of her time over her lifetime. As an involved synagogue member for over 50 years, she spearheaded the Torah Fund drive at Beth Torah for as long as anyone can remember, only passing the baton to someone else once she could no longer walk around on the High Holidays.
Lenore Gold Elias is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Esther Gold, her husband Alvin Elias, and her son Samuel Joseph Elias. She is survived by her three daughters, Beth Roscoe, Robyn Mizrachi and Ellen Elias and Robyn (Sammy z"l) and her 6 grandchildren, Adam, Lauren, Ryan, Raya, Alexis and Jacob.
