COHEN, Leon
It is with great sadness that the family of Leon Cohen announces his passing on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the age of 94. Leon will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Debbie Bloomfield, his granddaughter Jill (Ben) Margolis, and his great grandchildren, Lilah and Arlo Margolis. Leon was predeceased by his loving wife of 65 years, Lucille and his adored son, Jeffrey. Leon grew up in the Bronx, New York where he attended DeWitt Clinton High School, served in World War II, and went on to graduate from Pace College. He met Lucille on a blind date, married and moved to Miami Beach in 1951. Leon worked in the construction business for most of his life. After retirement, he became a realtor, a profession he loved and continued into his 90s. Leon will always be remembered as a hard worker with a happy disposition. He loved joking with everyone, telling stories, and dancing with his wife. Mostly, he loved his family.
