Leonard "Lenny" Pomerantz's Obituary
POMERANTZ, Leonard "Lenny" 78 of Sunny Isles Beach passed away August 4, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the loving son of the late Max & Deborah Pomerantz. Beloved cousin of Sheila Goldberg of Brookfield, Connecticut & Barbara Franklin of Menlo Park, California, dear companion of Kathy Stevenson. Lenny was a long-time member of Beth Torah Congregation, its Men's Club and the Minyanaires. He leaves behind many long-time friends from the Men's Club & the temple. He was a promising concert pianist until he became ill as a young man. Lenny received his Masters Degree from Columbia University. He was a proud journalist, a skilled editor, director and also wrote stories. Lenny will be sorely missed by all who knew him. There will be an empty spot in our hearts.
