Beloved husband of Karen Zeitlin, they were married almost 47 years, happily celebrating their anniversary and his birthday on the same September 13th day. They were married on a lucky Friday the 13th in 1968 and always considered it the luckiest day of the year.
“Lenny” is survived by daughter Jacqueline (Robert) Lewis, sons Eric (Melissa) and Bruce (Risa) Zeitlin and pre-deceased by son Paul and daughter Halette Cindy Zeitlin; Grandchildren Andrea and Michelle Lewis, Maxwell and Dylan Gold, Zoe, Avery and Daisy Zeitlin.
Leonard was born in Brooklyn and raised during the Great Depression in Laurelton, New York by his parents Leon and Martha. He was the 3rd oldest of 7 children of which he was the last surviving member.
Lenny was a long time and well respected executive in the men’s and boy’s apparel industry. After moving to Boca Raton in 1981, he owned and operated a highly successful commercial real estate business where he remained active until very recent years. Lenny was known to many as highly generous and kind, always making efforts to help friends, family and those less fortunate.
