Lily Jurkevich's Obituary
JURKEVICH, LILY passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the age of 79. Lily, originally from Poland, emigrated to Cuba after Word War II, and moved to New York, where she met her beloved husband, Samuel. They married in 1968, and subsequently moved to Miami Beach in 1978. She was the loving wife of Samuel Jurkevich, mother to Lynn (Barry) Cohen and Alex (Patty) Jurkevich, and sister to Israel Burshatin. She was a wonderful grandmother.to Jared, Paige, Mitchell and Jeffrey. Her children and grandchildren always brought joy to her. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Levitt-Weinstein Blasberg, Rubin-Zilbert Memorial Chapel at 9:30 AM, 18840 W. Dixie Highway North Miami Beach, FL 33180 (305) 932-2700.
