Linda Koch Kliston's Obituary
Her family regrets to announce the death of Linda Koch Kliston of Plantation: a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, cousin, and aunt to a loving extended family of native Floridians.
A survivor of multiple cancers, she overcame illness many times, determined to enjoy life to the fullest. She passed peacefully in her home on Nov 21, 2022 surrounded by her closest loved ones. She was predeceased by her father, Milton Koch, and is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Todd Kliston; mother, Faye Koch Kronberg; brother, Charles Koch; daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Tim Scala; and her granddaughter, Rose Scala (6), who was a bright light in her final years.
Linda's warm and caring personality and energetic lifestyle centered around her many activities with family, friends, and her husband — these included playing card games like poker and canasta, seeing concerts, engaging with local politics, and hiking in the Rockies, one of her favorite vacation spots. She was also a respected teacher for over 20 years at Broward Community College, retiring in 2015.
