Dear Alan,

I just found out about Linda's passing. I have great memories of our time as college roommates and our time after graduation. I, perhaps, should have kept in touch with Linda on a more regular basis but she was always in my thoughts. She was a wonderful and generous person and knowing of her passing leaves me with deep sadness. I extend my sincere condolences to you and your family.
