Livia Frankel's Obituary
FRANKEL, Livia passed away on the morning of November 21st, 2017 at age 95. Known as Lili or Anyu to those who knew her best, she lived a full life surrounded by family. From her birth on November 26th, 1921 in Budapest, Hungary until her death, she worked tirelessly supporting and protecting her family. She was the youngest of five children born to David and Hermina Klein. In 1944, she married Simon Frankel and had two boys, Tomas and Robert Frankel. In search for a better life for their children, the Frankel family emigrated to Israel, and then eventually moved to the United States. Affectionately known as Anyu to all those who knew her well, she was the matriarch of the Frankel family. Her favorite times were those spent with her sons, grandchildren and her great grandchildren, Roger and Enid.
