JAFCO has been deeply honored to have been a small part of Liz's journey to fulfill her dream of becoming a parent. When G-d brought a beautiful baby girl into Liz's life 9 years ago, her dream was fulfilled and she named her Yonit, which in Hebrew means dove. Their time together on this earth was way too short but a mother's love lives in our hears forever. Mindy we are here for you for anything you need and appreciate the opportunity to assist with funeral arrangements and ensure that LIzbeth had a beautiful and traditional Jewish service. She was so lucky to have such a loving sister and Yonit one day will understand what a gift you are in her life.
Jewish sages teach us that for every baby that is born, Hashem selects two mothers.
The first mother gives birth to the child.
The second mother, waits in the wings, until she is needed if the birth mother cannot raise her child.
For Yonit....
Hashem knew that he needed a third mother waiting in the wings and he called her Aunt Mindy. Let us all send Mindy our love and support today, and in the days and many years to come. Mindy we are here for you and Yonit 24/7/365.
