It was with deep sadness that I learned of my uncle Lloyd's passing. He was married to my aunt Loretta, and together they made an amazing couple, happily married over 60 years. I enjoyed many visits with them while they lived in NYC and in their retirement in Boynton Beach. Lloyd was a very talented man and a brilliant scientist. A few years ago he shared with me a profile of himself published in Who's Who in America (2006 edition). Some of his accomplishments include - 40 patents in the field of Surface Chemistry, invention of non-stinging waterproof mascara, development of a process for the removal of silt & colloidal clay from oil, and many many others. I admired his creativity, wonderful sense of humor, and endless curiousity. Even in his later years, after going blind, he persisted in the design of several innovative ideas. We will miss you, Lloyd, and hope that you find peace and joy in rejoining Loretta for this next phase of your journey.Much love,Suzanne##imported-begin##Suzanne Mernyk##imported-end##
