Lois Sakrais Jacobs' Obituary
Lois Sakrais Jacobs, born on Long Island New York January 11, 1933, passed away at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis Tennessee on January 26, 2015. Lois moved to Miami Beach with her family when she was 16 and graduated from Beach High in 1950. She met the love of her life, the late Marshall Jacobs, on the 14 Street Beach and they were married for 57 years. She worked as a bookkeeper / accountant for the majority of her life. Lois was active in Hadassah and held a variety of Board positions for many years. She had just recently been named President of her condo association. Her passions were her family, cooking, entertaining, water skiiing, traveling and reading.
Lois is survived by her Daughter Aileen (Michael) Leavitt, of Memphis Tennessee, her Son Edan (Lisa) Jacobs of Pembroke Pines, her Grandchildren Brian (Molly) Bernatsky, Jeannie Jacobs, Jeremy Jacobs and her Great Grandson Blake Bernatsky.
The family will be sitting Shiva immediately following the funeral at the home of Edan and Lisa Jacobs.
