I met Lori 4 years ago when I worked retail we became friends, after I stopped working there & Covid hit her daily texts & meeting in my driveway was a highlight in my life. She always spoke about her family, and of course what sneakers we needed , I am heartbroken for her entire family that she loved so much. Rest easy my beautiful friend. I will forever miss you , all my love Patti Krakower
We did not see Lori as often as we would have liked. But, when we did see her she was always smiling. She had a beautiful face with a winning and broad smile. and she was always so warm and engaging.
We will miss her and send our most heartfelt condolences to her family and all who adored her. May your wonderful memories comfort at this time and always.
Warmly,
Karen, Jim, Jacob & Joshua Ryan

— You Don’t Just Lose Someone Once —
You lose them over and over,
sometimes many times a day.
When the loss, momentarily forgotten,
creeps up,
and attacks you from behind.
Fresh waves of grief as the realisation hits home,
they are gone.
Again.
You don’t just lose someone once,
you lose them every time you open your eyes to a new dawn,
and as you awaken,
so does your memory,
so does the jolting bolt of lightning that rips into your heart,
they are gone.
Again.
Losing someone is a journey,
not a one-off.
There is no end to the loss,
there is only a learned skill on how to stay afloat,
when it washes over.
Be kind to those who are sailing this stormy sea,
they have a journey ahead of them,
and a daily shock to the system each time they realise,
they are gone,
Again.
You don’t just lose someone once,
you lose them every day,
for a lifetime.
