Louise Brown's Obituary
Brown, Louise, a singer and entertainer. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 29, 1919. Louise was a wonderful wife to her late husband, Comedian Milt Ross and her last love, late husband Jay Brandman. Her professional entertainment career spanned six decades beginning with her singing with top orchestras in New York and Atlantic City. Her marriage to Milt Ross, with whom she often performed, brought her to Miami Beach where she entertained audiences at the Fountainbleu, Eden Roc and Deauville hotels among many others. Louise was best known as the "Hostess with the Mostest" for her many years as the Social Director at the Casablanca Hotel. Louise was a charter member of the Aventura Optimist Club and a member of the North Miami Beach Optimist Club for many years. Louise was very active with City of Hope and was a charter member of Leading Ladies where she was a board member who participated in raising millions of dollars which were made available to young and old for organ transplants. Louise was most proud of her two sons, Jack Ross and Alan Ross. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Susan Ross and three grandchildren, Adam (Jessica) Ross, Melissa (KC) Sentz and Courtney and two great grandchildren, Tyler and Madison. Louise will be missed by her family and by the many others who were touched by her talent and philanthropy.
