Maria Natalie Bernard's Obituary
Maria Natalie Bernard passed away Saturday, June 18th, after a courageous 4.5-year battle with metastatic breast cancer. Maria moved on peacefully with her family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, David Bernard, daughter Natalie (Robert Hirsch), granddaughters Sloane and Liv, brother Charles Consolo, GoGo, the Benners, and dear friends. Maria will be remembered for her generous and giving spirit. Maria was dedicated to her work in the medical field. She impacted the lives of many over the course of 40 years working for both Dr. David Reinhard and Mount Sinai Medical Center. Maria will be greatly missed, but she will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 26th, 2:00 pm at Levitt Weinstein Blasberg Rubin Zilbert Memorial Chapel, 18840 W Dixie Hwy, Miami, FL 33180. May Maria’s memory always be a blessing and a source of strength. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in Maria’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The family will be receiving at the Bernard residence follow service.
