LUSKY, Maria (Lazoff)
In Loving Memory of our beautiful Maria Lusky, age 74, who passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Havana, Cuba to Jose and Rosa Lazoff on July 24, 1942. She then married the love of her life, Namy and together they moved to Puerto Rico where they started their family.
In August of 1971, they moved to Miami with their family and settled there. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy which includes her loving husband of 54 years Namy, her four children Marvin (Lorraine), Eddie (Becky), Tania, Jeffrey (Debbie), her eight grandchildren Marcus, Joel, Brianna, Erika, Michael, Ari, Janine and Bryan, plus one granddaughter on the way. Her sister Clara Herman, brothers Miguel (Sandra) and Roberto (Graciela) Lazoff, Julia Goldberg, Alberto (Gisela) Lusky and many nieces and nephews.
Donations in Maria’s memory can be made to American Cancer Society, La Liga Contra El Cancer or in honor of her grandchildren donations can be made to Camp Judaea/Young Judaea.
Funeral Service will be held Sunday, September 18th at 12:30 pm at Levitt-Weinstein, 18840 W. Dixie Hwy, North Miami Beach. Interment to follow at Lakeside Memorial Park.
