Marshall, 81, of Miami, passed away September 9, 2015. Beloved husband of Carole Newman Waldman for 57 years; loving father of Hara (Hal) Stern of Irvine, CA, Abby (Scott) Meyers of Cooper City, FL, Bonnie (Robi) Szasz of St. Petersburg, FL; cherished grandfather of Alec,Michael, Marc, Spencer, Jake, Sarah, Blane & Brent; dear brother-in-law of Adele Waldman, Audrey Bennett & Harriet Leve; loving uncle ofmany nieces & nephews. The family suggests donations to the Jerry Herman Ring Theater/University of Miami 1312 Miller Dr, Coral Gables, FL 33124 or Temple Judea 5500 Granada Blvd, Coral Gables, FL 33146. Marshall & Carole met at UNC-Chapel Hill in 1955. He served in the US Army for 2 years. Marshall adored his wife.
His children and grandchildren were the joy of his life. Poppy, as his grandchildren called him, was larger than life, had a beaming smile and made every person he met feel special. His presence and love will always be felt and remembered.
Services at Temple Judea 5500 Granada Blvd, Coral Gables on Sunday Sept 13 at 10AM under the direction of Blasberg, Rubin, Zilbert 305-865-2353.
