Martin Moses' Obituary
Martin Moses was born on October 16th, 1923 in NYC, NY and passed away on June 19th 2022 at his home in Pembroke Pines, FL. He was totally sharp until his last breath.
He served his country honorably in the Pacific in WWII as an Army Staff Sargent.
Shortly after the War he met his future wife Jean and they were inseparable for 53 years until Jean’s passing in March of 2000.
He and Jean had a passion for travel and cruised the world.
They shared everything together. Bowling, dancing, and love of socializing with friends and family.
In June of 1948 they had their daughter Sharon and in 1954 their son Jerry. He is survived by his son Jerry, his granddaughters Abby and Lisa and his great grand children Henry, Rebecca and Alex.
Martin learned the bakery trade from his father-in-law and he owned and operated a very successful bake shop in the town where he moved his family to from the Bronx in 1957. The town is Bergenfield, NJ and the town’s people were extremely loyal.
Martin (who to his friends was known as Marty) never had a bad word to say about anyone and any one who knew him only had good things to say about him.
He was a man of compassion and would help any friend or family member in need. He knew the right way to live and led by example. He will be missed by all who knew him.
