Maureen Davis' Obituary
Maureen Ann Davis, 76, died on February 5, 2026. She was born in New Jersey, where she enjoyed summers at the family bungalow at Lake Hopatcong. She devoted her career to nature, and spent more than 30 years as a grounds keeper for Broward County Parks and Recreation, working in the nursery. She had a passion for running, gardening, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, son, grandchildren, two sisters and one brother. She will be remembered for her kindness, humor, and love for her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Friends of the Smokies, https://friendsofthesmokies.org/honor-or-remember-a-loved-one/ as she found peace in the Great Smoky Mountains. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 12:30pm at Saint Bonaventure Catholic Church in Davie.
