SCHWARTZMax, of Weston, Florida, died peacefully at his home on September 4. Mac was a veteran of WWII, having served, with distinction in the US Navy. Mac was a loving husband to Arline for over fifty years, a devoted father to Barbara and Barry, Fred and Tai, Ellen and Rene, and grandfather of Brett and Scott, Ryan and Adam. He was an adored brother by his late brother and sister, and his brother-in-law Donald Bezahler and sister-in-law, Mary. He was an avid tennis player, playing daily until the age of 89. Although a mild mannered man, Mac was a courageous fighter, having fought against pancreatic cancer for eighteen months. Mac never had an un-kind word to say about any human being, and no-one ever had an un–kind word to say about him. Although not tall of stature, Mac proved he was a giant of a man.
