She was always Grandma Magi to me. Always there with a smile, singing in the morning and saying good morning to her cats, dolls, puppets and anyone and anything that was around, they all had names and personalities. She made sure everyone has what they need and if you didn't, she was sure to give you her own advice- "you don't need that". Never had a Holiday without a wishful card from Grandma Magi and some gelt that I would hide. My best summers were spent with Grandma and the wonderful famliy that was so close knit around her, taking care of her and she of them. I will miss you dearly, and am so honored and proud that my sons and wife had a chance to meet you, even if for a short time. Love Avi.

Dear Family,
The first time I met Maxine was just after I married her grandson Avi, and we spent our honeymoon in Florida. I heard a lot of stories about her, and I already knew how wonderful she is, since my husband and my brother in-law spoke about her with love.
The day we arrived she was waiting for us and welcomed us with a beautiful big smile, and with a LOT of kisses. I remember that I was amazed how beautiful she was, and I couldn't believe she was 84. And wow, she was still driving her car, the one with the flowers on the antenna :)
No matter what time of the day we visited her, she was always perfectly dressed, with nice earrings, makeup, nail polish, and of course her red lipstick! "She is amazing", I thought to myself.
It was so nice to spend time with her and listen to stories from the past. Her house was full of family pictures everywhere, and those family pictures were memories for her, so I was lucky to hear her stories about the whole family.
She kept her smile on all the time, and was very nice and warm.
I met her several more times and she was always so nice and lovely. It is so great that I will always remember her with big smile and eyes full of love.
Well, she was really a GREAT grandma.

What we have once enjoyed, we can never lose.
May her memory be for a blessing to all
