I have fond memories of teaching alongside Merle at Ely High School in the 1980’s. She has left us too soon and will be missed. Rest in peace dear Merle.
I always loved the smile on Merle's face as she looked at her beloved son, Dylan. She was so proud of all his accomplishments.
When I first saw Merle in Jazzercise Class I am like I know You She told me her last name,I am like You Were a Teacher at Ely High School,But I also told her I wasn't in your Class because She taught SLD Classes We Laughed about That ,She had a very cheery spirit,I would look in the back of the Class for her when they played a Song She liked ,She would Sing Loud and I would Cheer Her on ,We are Truly going to Miss You Fly High Merle😢🥰🙏
