Michael Douglas Acton, Sr.'s Obituary
Michael Douglas Acton, Sr., 56, of Pembroke Pines, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011. Mike was born in Maryville, Tn. and moved to Pembroke Pines in 2000 from Oviedo. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and was the COO of Blackstone in Miami. Mike enjoyed fishing, golfing, and had been a WPPO baseball coach for several years. Survivors include his wife of almost 15 years, Liz; sons, Brian Acton, Michael Acton, Jr., Brandon Weeden, Joseph Acton and Lucas Acton; mother, Barbara Acton; siblings, Steve, Mary, Nancy, Linda and Andy. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tom and sister, Katherine. Funeral services for Mr. Acton will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, November 27, 2011, with visitation one hour prior to the service, in the Levitt-Weinstein/Beth David Chapel, 3201 N.W. 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, Fl.
