Michael Kupershtein's Obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Michael Kupershtein, a loved grandson, beloved son, loving brother, wonderful husband and a devoted father who passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 22nd, 2024. Michael leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
Michael was born on August 20, 1972, in Tashkent, former USSR. He immigrated to the US in 1992 along with his father and younger brother and put down his roots in New Orleans, LA. As he settled down in this new country, Michael also began building his family with his sons Vlad and Christopher. He started with nothing in his pockets and worked very hard at his work with full dedication and effort and was able to build a successful life and career from scratch.
He enjoyed playing guitar when he was younger and participated in various sports. Michael lived a life filled with compassion and generosity. He touched the lives of many through his unwavering dedication to those in need. Michael possessed a remarkable ability to connect with those around him. He cherished their company and formed meaningful relationships. Michael later moved to Florida and made a successful career at Burlington. Michael’s third son, Liam, was born here. He made a loving home in Florida with his wife Julia.
Michael is survived by his grandmother, Nina, his dad, Gregory, his younger brother, Ilya, his wife, Julia and his sons, Vladislav (Melina), Christopher, and Liam. His sister-in-law, Avani, and his nephews, Ilan and Arden and his niece, Liana, will also miss him dearly. As well as many loving cousins, Aunt Svetlana, and many friends. They will cherish his memory and continue to honor his legacy. Michael’s presence will be deeply missed but his spirit will live on through the countless lives he has touched.
He was predeceased by his mother Vladislava Kupershtein(Vasserman), his paternal grandparents Hanna and Meer, and maternal grandfather Isaac, as well as, his aunts Elena and Evgeniya.
A funeral will be held on April 26, 2024, at 12 Noon at Levitt Weinstein/Beth David Memorial Chapel 3201 North 72nd Avenue Hollywood, FL 330 where family and friends will gather to celebrate Michael’s remarkable life and of his impact on people who were lucky to know him. We will then proceed to the Temple Beth El Memorial Gardens, located at 4900 Griffin Road, Davie, FL
Michael may have left this world, but his memory will continue to be a source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew him. May he rest in peace, knowing that his legacy will endure for generations to come.
