I am a colleague of Michele Ware's, and like Mike and Michele, I am from California. I, too, am Jewish, and I send deep condolences to Bonnie as she grieves the loss of her husband, Mike Schab. I never met Mike, but I know how deeply Michele loved her twin brother and how dear he was to her. I also know how shocking and sudden his death was. I hope the Jewish grief and mourning rituals comfort Bonnie, even though Mike was not Jewish. Everyone grieves differently, and the rituals of Jewish loss of loved ones can be healing. I have been transformed by the power of various rituals for relatives and loved ones who have died in my family. I hope that despite the shock of Mike's death, that Bonnie can slowly heal from this devastating loss. Take your time, and know that there is no set timeline.
