With a great sadness we are saying goodbye to Misha. If we were to use just one word to describe him, I would choose KINDNESS. Yes, Misha was kind, he was also easily amused and had quite a contagious laugh, a great talker but a good listener as well.
He blazed the path to America for our family taking the responsibility of the sponsorship but he never brought it up in a conversation as a reminder that we definitely owed him for the opportunity to change our lives so drastically.
It is painful to think that he is no longer among us, chatting, laughing, telling his stories, remembering the past.
He was very proud of his family and the achievements of his children and grandchildren. He will be missed but continue to live in our grateful memories. Goodbye, Mishenka!
