Michael Bennett Udell's Obituary
Michael Bennett Udell 67, of Plainfield, IN formerly of Pembroke Pines, FL passed away Thurs. Dec. 27, 2018. Michael was born in NYC and was raised in North Miami Beach, FL. He lived his adult life in Pembroke Pines, FL. Michael graduated from North Miami High School, Miami-Dade College, the University of Florida, and South Texas College of Law and practiced law in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties for 30 years. The loves of his life were family, friends, fishing, music and the law. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Janet Udell. Michael is survived by his wife of 39 years, Helene Bookman Udell; daughter Shayna M. Udell of Indianapolis, IN; and son Rabbi Jeremy M. Kridel (Raya L. Duffey) of Ellicott City, MD. Michael is survived by his beloved grandson, Shaye Paul Kridel. He is also survived by his brother Paul (Paula) Udell; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Michael (Jackie) Bookman; nieces and nephews; friends Barbara, Stuart, and Marc Kaplan; sister, Karen Froman, and brother-in-law Lawrence Bookman.Funeral arrangements entrusted to Levitt Weinstein Memorial Chapel.
