We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that my kids always spoke very highly of Mr. Winkler, as he substituted in their classes at the elementary school. Your son, brother and uncle was loved by many kids and many parents loved his way with the kids. My son and daughter are very saddened by his passing, he will surely be missed. Dear Ellen, Michael & Sara, We were so sad to hear of Michael's passing, and my heart just sank at this news. I remember so fondly that adorable little boy in the backseat of my car, as we carpooled to various places. Michael was indeed special and wonderful, and his memory will live on in our hearts. My thoughts and prayers go out Michael's Mother and Father and his sister, as well as his nephew Henry and the rest of his family and loved ones. Although I have not seen Michael in so many years I have SO enjoyed seeing the wonderful man he grew up to be. For that reason alone I think facebook is a blessing. I am so sad to hear that he has passed and I will forever remember his smile and energy...as a 3rd grade student in my class and in the pictures I have seen posted on his facebook wall.
