Beame, Milton, born in Brooklyn New York on August 31, 1927. Beloved husband of Fran. Son
Larry (Carolyn), daughter Annette predeceased (Dennis), Son Steve (Kelly), Daughter Candace(Wendell), Grandchildren Michael (Honey), Teddy (Leslie), Amanda (Jared), Rachael (Demetri), Reasha, Jacob (Danielle), Madison, Nicholas. Great Grandchildren Joseph, Paul, Tianna and Nathan. Sister Estelle and Brother Joseph(Rhoda). Many nieces and nephews. Milt loved telling stories to the grandchildren about his life experiences. They would roll their eyes, smile, thinking here he goes again. They loved it!!
Milt went to Elementary School 167 and was an active member of the Boy Scouts. He attended Boys High School in Brooklyn and at 80 organized a school reunion. Milt worked during the day, studied on the train going to night school at City College. He was a positive thinker, determined to always make the best of any situation. Quickly passed four parts of an exam to become a CPA, was brilliant, caring and very ethical. A mentor to many people who will miss him dearly.
Joined the Army in 1945-47. Moved to Miami with wife Roslyn in 1951. He was a founder of Temple Or Olom in Miami. In January 1954 received his CPA certificate. Milt became a partner in Bramson, Schechter, Beame and Davis, which grew to be a major local accounting firm. He was President of the Optimist Club.
He had two loves in his life. Roslyn who had passed away at 35 years. He married Fran in 1966 bringing two fantastic families together as one. They always stressed family is about loving and caring and had pearl rings made for the girls and initial rings for the boys. During the wedding ceremony the four children exchanged rings in friendship to strengthen the bond between them as family.
Milt retired after 40 years-was back 5 years later into a successful partnership with Michael Franz for 15 years. He retired again at 80.
Our lives have been enriched by his generosity, guidance and having shared his love of life with family and friends. Our sadness is overwhelming and he will remain forever in our hearts.
The family wishes to thank Milts caregivers, Nikki and Vitas, for their kindness and warm hearted care.
Services will be held Sunday, October 4th at 11 a.m. Mt. Nebo Kendall Memorial Gardens, 5900 S.W. 77th Ave. Miami, FL 33143.
