Minnie Rosen's Obituary
ROSEN
Minnie Muchnick, 94, of Coral Gables, Florida, peacefully passed away on January 30, 2013 after a very brief illness. As a young woman she fell in love with her soul mate Morris. When he enlisted in the service of the United States and returned injured from the South Pacific she followed him from veteran hospital to veteran hospital while working for the United States Army. The two were married in 1944 prior to Morris’ discharge. The Rosen family, Morris, Minnie and their young daughter Sandy, relocated to South Florida. In 1952, Morris became a building contractor while Minnie handled the bookkeeping chores working together until they retired in the 1980’s. Many of their residential and commercial buildings that they worked on can still be seen throughout Miami-Dade County. She is survived by her beloved husband Morris of 68 years, her daughter Sandra and son-in-law Jeffrey Rosinek, grandson Ian Rosinek, brother Ben Muchnick and many loving nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Minnie’s memory to your favorite charity. Funeral Services, Sunday February 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel 18840 West Dixie Highway, North Miami Beach, FL 33180
