Miriam Sandra 73 of Weston passed away June 24, 2014.
Beloved wife of Dr. Donald Chesen, a loving mother of
Michael Freedland, David (Beth) Freedland, Dr. Kari (John) Coelho,
Dana Freedland Katz, Dr. Peter (Erin) Freedland, a cherished
grandmother of Erica, Nicole, Alexandra, John, Jake, Andrew,
Brianna, Matthew, Evan, and a devoted sister of Rosalind Ruderman.
Born in Detroit, Michigan on May 9, 1941, and came to So. Florida
in 1971. Lively, Vibrant, beautiful and caring to all. Her deep
love for creatures great and small defined who she was and
how she lived her life. Founder of So. Broward Animal Hospital.
She loved Fashion, Decorating, Gardening, Ballroom Dancing
and Country Music. Her favorite pastime was feeding the
wildlife that lived close by. Ducks and raccoons would come from
all over to feed at her home. She is loved and will be missed by all.
A true loss, gone but never forgotten. In our hearts, minds and
souls forever. The family requests memorial contributions to
