Miriam Barnert Winick age 100 of Hollywood,FL, passed away on Monday, November 18, 2019. Born in Orange, NJ, she resided in Irvington, NJ before moving to Florida in 1986.
Miriam was the beloved wife of the late Max Winick, loving mother of Paula Winick (Tom) Mayo and the late Judith Lee Winick; cherished grandmother of Cynthia Lynn (Ivan) Miranda and Steven Max (Traci) Freund and adored great-grandmother of Kaitlyn Ariel Miranda, Madelyn Judith and Samuel Marcel Freund.
Miriam was a Legal Secretary at the Essex County District Court for 20 years before retiring. She was a past president of the PTA at Oakwood Avenue School in Orange, NJ, a life member and a past president of the Irvington chapter of Hadassah and a member of Century Pines Jewish Center. She loved to read and finished 2-3 books a week.
