Sincere condolences to you all. I played ice hockey with Mitch & the other rink rats at the Polar Palace early 70s. Mitch was just a better player than most of us & I remember asking (begging) him to play on my line one game when I brought my new girlfriend. Of course Mitch, being the easy-going nice guy that he was, he accommodated me. Remember years later the rink rats all attended a Panthers game at the Miami Arena circa, geez, mid-90s? Mitch was there; brought a bunch of stuff from his deli for the pre-game tail gate. He was just a good guy with a good heart. I am so sorry for your loss. R.I.P. friend Mitch. Steve Glerum.
