Mitchell Weiser's Obituary
Mitchell Weiser, aged 94, passed away on December 23, 2014. Wonderful husband to the late Roslyn Weiser, incredible father to Jon (Lynda) Weiser and Meryl (Steven) Rosen, and adored grandpa to Daniel and Jenny Rosen and Jackie and Isaac Weiser. Mitch packed so much into his 94 years; he served with distinction in WWII, received advanced college degrees, was a ranked tennis player and one-time practice partner of Bobby Riggs, successful international businessman and part-time smuggler of liquor in the 1960's. He also reportedly told Elvis to wear the black leather outfit in his comeback concert on NBC, saying to him, try it on, what's not to like? Most important, he was our beloved dad; every day we will miss his wicked wit, huge heart and unwavering support. Graveside Service at 1 p.m., Sunday December 28 at Lakeside Memorial Park, 10301 NW 25th St., Doral, Florida 33172.
