Morris Wolf's Obituary
Morris Wolf, husband, father, lensman, artist, marksman, iconoclast, traveler, dreamer, and true character, passed away on January 30, 2021. He is survived by the love of his life, Jane, their children Stacey (David) and Mike (Alison), and his grandchildren Adam, Carly, Jack, and Lucy and grand dogs CJ and Winnie.
Born in Philadelphia in 1942, Morris took up photography in the army, where he became the general’s personal documentarian. Then, he studied under some of the top photographers in New York. And he eventually landed in Miami, where he became the shutterbug to the stars.
His clients were actors, pro athletes, mobsters, heads of state, and lots of Jews. He captured memories for everyone with great talent. After nearly forty years, he retired, but kept taking pictures with his beloved Leicas and Hasselblads.
Morris loved cameras, guns, cars, motorcycles, and art. But, above all, he loved his family. They broke the mold when they made Morris Wolf. A true original!
Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 1:30 pm at Mount Nebo Miami Memorial Garden, 5505 NW 3rd Street, Miami. Arrangements by Levitt-Weinstein Blasberg-Rubin-Zilbert Memorial Chapel (305) 932-2700
