Goldfarb, Murray, 91, of Aventura, FL passed away September 5, 2015. Beloved husband of Arline “Lee”, loving father of Richard, the late William “Billy”, Lori (Jim) & Jody; cherished grandfather of Howard (Melissa), Brian (Sandra), Jordan (Morgan), Rachel, Charlie, Dylan & Nathan; adored great-grandfather of Ethan; devoted son of the late Yetta & Phillip Goldfarb; dear brother of Marjorie & the late Irving; uncle to many loving nieces & nephews. Murray was born in Brooklyn, NY July 30, 1924. He attended Kansas State College and joined Army Air Corps in 1943. He served and was decorated during WW II in the South Pacific and survived a fiery plane crash during his time of service. Murray ran a shoe business on Long Island before relocating his family to Florida in 1975, where he was successful in the Life, Health & Disability Insurance industry over the past 40 years. He was adored by his family and was a loving and caring person and friend to all who had the honor of knowing him. Chapel service 12 noon Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015 at Levitt Weinstein/Beth David, 3201 NW 72 Ave., Hollywood, FL 33024 (305) 932-2700. In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army are greatly appreciated by the family.
