Myer Kwavnick's Obituary
Myer Kwavnick
1944–2026
After a sudden but brief illness, Myer Kwavnick passed away in Hollywood, Florida, on July 22, 2026, at the young age of 82. Born in Montréal and a lifelong fan of the Montréal Canadiens, he moved to Florida with his family in 1993.
He was the loving husband and best friend of Sandi (née Wiener), and the deeply devoted father of Warren (Melissa) and Kimberley (Dan). He was the adoring and immensely proud grandfather of Mia Rozenberg, and Olivia and Lindsey Kwavnick. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends, and all whose lives he touched.
Myer embraced life with boundless enthusiasm, remaining active and engaged until his final days. He loved travel, photography, hiking, and his camera club, but above all, he cherished time with his family, who were the center of his world. He leaves behind an enormous void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 27, at 10:00 a.m. at Levitt-Weinstein 3201 N. 72nd Avenue Hollywood, FL 33024
