Myron Bash
Myron Bash, 92, of Delray Beach, FL passed away on Saturday, March 5. Mike,
as he was known to many, was born in Trenton, New Jersey on March 17,1923.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Naomi Hurowitz Bash, sons
Steven and Evan, grandson Ryan, granddaughters, Abigail, Amanda, Kimberly,
Stevie, Mollie, Katherine and Erica, 2 great-grandchildren, Fraiser and Resse,
and daughters-in-law Ann and Emily. His third son Gregory passed away in
2010.
Mike graduated from Trenton Central High School and Franklin and Marshall
College. After college he attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia
and then served 2 years as a medical laboratory officer in Stuttgart, Germany.
After returning to the U.S., Dr. Bash did his post-graduate training at
Cincinnati General Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio.
Dr. Bash established his orthopedic surgery practice on West State Street in
Trenton, New Jersey in 1950 and continued until his retirement in 1985 when
he and Naomi moved to Boynton Beach and eventually Delray Beach. Dr. Bash
had privileges at Mercer Medical Center, where he was Chief of Staff. He was a
devoted and compassionate physician who always considered it a privilege to
serve his patient. Mike was an avid sports fan.
The family will have a private memorial service.
