I loved spending my summers in Florida with my grandparents and Aunt Flo. When Flo married Myron, I felt “removed” from my relationship with my Aunt. But Myron grabbed me up and did all kinds of things a teenaged boy loved to do. He was genuine. No pretense.
I always looked forward to being with him.
My love and hugs go out to Michelle, Marty and Andy. I love y’all more than you know.
I have cherished memories of spending my summers with Myron, Flo, Michelle, Marty & Andy. I would get on a plane right after my school closed for summer vacation and stay until my school started back up again. Myron took me fishing on some of his days off. He would get me up before dawn and throw me in his VW bug and we would be out for the day. I also went flying with him from the small airport down the block from his home. He also made me cut the lawn and paint bookshelves. I still am not a fan of painting. He explained what a boiled peanut was and why I was missing out on one of the best snacks ever made.
Thank you for all the memories. I will miss you.
