Nathan David Peters' Obituary
Nathan Peters passed away on April 14th, 2023. He was born February 2nd, 1956 in Brooklyn, New York. When he wasn’t busy cheering on the Giants, Mets, Knicks, and Rangers, he was busy playing stickball and helping out at his parents’ store. Nathan studied at Brooklyn Community College followed by University of Wisconsin – Madison, where he met his future wife Paula. Nathan was a dedicated father to four boys, Alex, Matthew, Aaron, and Garrett and despite the busy schedule, he rarely missed a sporting game or school function. As a first-generation college graduate, Nathan was dedicated to ensuring educational access to all while working at University Wisconsin – Madison, University of Vermont, and Wesleyan University where he retired in 2018. After retirement, Nathan traveled the world with Paula, snapping pictures of every delicious meal they shared and subsequently running it off in a 5k. Nathan’s commitment to excellence will be remembered by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.
