Noah Leopold's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Noah Leopold, age 40, our beloved son, brother, husband, uncle, and friend, passed away on September 9, 2023, after a series of health complications that began with his courageous battle with pediatric cancer at the age seven. Born in North Miami Beach, FL, on October 10, 1982, Noah's journey through life was a testament to his unwavering spirit and boundless love for all those fortunate enough to know him.
Growing up in North Miami Beach, Noah forged lifelong friendships that remained a cornerstone of his life. He cherished the bonds he formed during those formative years, another testament to his loyal and caring nature. As a child, Noah attended Sinai Academy, University School and then graduated from Krop High School.
Noah's indomitable spirit shone brightly through the challenges he faced. His battle with cancer may have altered the course of his life, but it never deterred his determination to live life to the fullest. Noah's thirst for knowledge was insatiable, and he eagerly embraced every opportunity to learn, whether it was mastering the culinary arts, ballroom dancing, or immersing himself in new games. An unwavering Miami Heat fan since childhood, Noah's enthusiasm for his team was infectious.
Though he never had a dog of his own growing up, Noah's heart belonged to his cherished adopted canine companion, Sonny, which he shared with his loving wife Michelle. Sonny's loyalty and affection brought him immeasurable joy.
Noah's academic achievements were remarkable. He graduated from the University of Florida with both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in taxation. He pursued a career as a CPA at Grant Thornton, excelling in his field. Yet, his dreams stretched beyond, and at the age of 35, he embarked on a new journey to become an attorney. Noah graduated Summa Cum Laude from Nova Southeastern University School of Law, eventually fulfilling his lifelong dream of practicing law along with his parents at their firm, Leopold Korn, P.A.
Above all else, Noah was a devoted family member and a cherished friend to many. His love and support for his parents, Karen and Norman Leopold, through every step of his health journey and career, exemplified his deep familial bond. He shared a special connection with his sister and brother-in-law, Jenna Leopold and Corey Shulman, and adored his wife of five years, Michelle Simha, along with her parents, Shirley and Sam Simha. Noah's nephews, Micah and Brett Shulman, also held an extra special place in his heart.
Noah's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his loving family, his countless friends, and all those whose lives he touched. Our hearts are shattered, and we mourn his loss deeply. Though he is no longer with us in person, his spirit, resilience, and love will continue to inspire us all. Noah will be remembered, celebrated, and cherished for all eternity.
