Norman Norris' Obituary
Norman Norris, 98, of Plantation FL passed away on February 17th. Born in Chelsea MA, he spent the majority of his life in Dorchester, Mattapan and Canton. He was a Veteran of WWII and a lifelong member of the Knights of Pythias where he served a term as Chancellor Commander, He was the longtime owner along with his late brother, Alfred, of Merrymount Daylight Bowling Lanes in Quincy, MA before retiring to FL in 1978 with his beloved wife Pearl. They were married for 67 years before her passing in 2006 and were the proud parents of Burton Norris (Judith) of Brockton, MA, Ronald Norris (Anne-Marie) of Weston, FL and Barbara Goldsmith (Stephen) of Castle Rock, CO, He was the grandfather of 5 and great grandfather of 8. The family thanks Mireille Metyer for her years of loving care of Norman.
