Olga Hradecky's Obituary
Olga Hradecky passed away on December 31, 2015, at age 95, after a long illness in Aventura, Florida. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, she was a loving wife to Rudolf Hradecky (pre-deceased) for 50 years. Throughout their marriage they lived in New York City; Uniondale, Long Island; Louisville, Kentucky; Trumbull, Connecticut; Chula Vista, California and Vallejo, California.
She also was a loving mother and friend to Ryna Headrick-Kirschning (Artur – predeceased), Ingrid Wiley (pre-deceased) (James), Carlos Hradecky, and Shawn Dove (Edwin). She also treasured her step-sons, Rudolf Hradecky III (Cheryl) and Anthony Hradecky (Joan).
Her grandchildren, Nicole Pena (John), Kara Beard (Joe), Shannon Latimer, Ryan Latimer and Alex G. Hradecky (Alexa) doted on their Grandmama. She was also very proud of her five great grandchildren.
Olga loved music, dancing, interior decorating and to travel. She was an avid baker and gardener, winning many prizes for her roses and orchids.
The family wishes to thank her caretakers, Tania, Marquesa and Vilma for the extraordinary care and love they bestowed upon our Mom for the last four years.
We will always love and cherish our Mom and Grandmama and she will remain in our hearts and memories forever.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Vallejo, California.
