Phyllis B. Beinstein's Obituary
Phyllis Beinstein, age 86 passed away peacefully on November 21, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born in Washington, DC on SEptember 2, 1926. She was preceded ini death by her parents, Eva and Louis H. Berman; her son, Martin K. Mendelsohn and her husband, Dr. Joseph Beinstein. Phyllis leaves behind her close family; daughters, Susan (Timothy) Sheehan, Joan (David) Underwood and Judith (Ed) Miller; brother, Melvin (Sharon) Berman; grandchildren, Jason A. Rosen, Benjamin Miller, Jennifer (Don) Bouman and Beth Fahey; great-grandchildren, Lauren Bouman and Sean Fahey.She was a very loving, kind and caring person and exemplified dignity even during the last difficult months of her life. The family offers their heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff at Harbour's Edge and to her special aide, Maureen Catnott. Also, a very special thank you to the many dear and close friends she made over the years at Harbour's Edge and Heron Creek. She was very grateful for your friendship.Funeral services to be held Monday, November 26 at Levitt- Weinstein Memorial Chapel, 7500 North State Road 7, Coconut Creek, FL 33073 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow at Boca Raton Cemetery and Mausoleum.In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to: Bascon Palmer Eye Institute for Macular Degeneration, 7101 Fairway Drive, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418 and to Hospice By the Sea, 1531 W.
