Phyllis Saunders' Obituary
Phyllis Sondra Saunders of Aventura, Florida passed away on Sunday,June 15,2014, after her valiant battle with cancer.
Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of Jack and Bella Bloom.
She is survived by her fiancee Stanton Freedman, her two sons Todd Saunders and his partner Dawn; Dean Saunders and his wife Lisa and granddaughter Melissa of Delray Beach Florida; Sister Elaine Wolfe; Niece Lisa Bowler; Niece Teri Kaplan.
Phyllis touched the lives of many people with her smile, generosity, and her close work with several charitable organizations. She was very dedicated and passionate about The Transplant Foundation, Inc., and The University of Miami Medical School.
Phyllis was a long time resident of Aventura, Florida, where she was well known for her creativity and outstanding community involvement.
Memorial services will be held at 12:30pm, Tuesday June 17th at Levitt Weinstein Memorial Chapel located in North Miami Beach, Florida. A grave side service will be held following at Mount Nebo in Miami Florida. The family will receive friends, Tuesday from 4pm to 8pm at her place of residence, 7000 Island Blvd. Aventura Florida
