Rachel Hope Kerwit's Obituary
My dear Rachel,
I still can't believe you are gone. You were such a bright light and spirit. I can still hear your laughter as you enter the room.
I found this poem that reminded me of you.
She’s in the sun,
the wind, the rain,
she’s in the air you
breathe with every
breath you take.
She sings a song
of hope and cheer,
there’s no more pain,
no more fear.
You’ll see her in
the clouds above,
hear her whisper
words of love, you’ll
be together before
long, until then
listen for her song.
You are in my thoughts and heart, always and forever. I miss you so very much. Love,
Mom

Dear Rachel,
Today, my heart sits heavy. How could one ever imagine that the one person that you shared your upbringing with would be taken so young? You will be missed more than you can imagine. I hope you can see now just how many people supported and loved you. Your journey through this battle was fought hard and it crushes me to know that I wasn’t able to tell you how much I love you one last time. You were my childhood best friend, you looked out for me through each stage of life and no matter how far we were from each other, you were always my biggest fan. What I will remember about you most is the way you smiled at me when we would look at each other, the laugh you spread in all of our conversations and the kind heart you maintained in all of your relationships. Rachel, you will always be responsible for who I’ve become and I can’t thank you enough. I will carry with me your beautiful soul and know that you will always watch down on me. I miss you so much already. I pray that you are no longer in pain and are at peace. My beautiful sister, I love you 4.
With all my heart,
Grant
