Rafael Maya, 65, of Aventura, Florida passed away on July 1, 2018. Rafael was the beloved husband of Bella. Cherished father of Isaac (Pamela) Maya of Scottsdale, Arizona and Sonia Maya of Aventura, Florida. Adored grandfather of Eli and Noah Maya. Rafael was the loving uncle of nieces and nephews and cousins. Rafael was a dedicated member of Temple Moses on Miami Beach and was the chairman of the burial committee. His upbeat and caring soul will truly be missed. The family suggests donations in memory of Rafael to Jewish Adoption and Family Care at 4200 N. University Drive, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33351 or www.JAFCO.org. The family will be attending morning and evening services at Temple Moses for seven days. Services will be held at Blasburg-Rubin-Zilbert at 720 71st Street, Miami Beach, FL 33141 on July 2, 2018 at 12:30 pm. Internment to follow at Lakeside Memorial Park, Doral, FL.
